Selca’s cooperative tradition
Poljoprivredna zadruga Selčanka dates its beginnings to 1948. Its development is linked to the joint purchasing and agricultural production of the people of eastern Brač.
Olive processing and oil
Olive processing and the production and purchase of extra virgin olive oil are an important part of the cooperative’s activities. Its own website notes that a new olive mill was built in 1998 and that it works systematically with olive growers to improve production.
