What the map covers
The map shows physical sites and structures on Brač, including buildings, archaeological and memorial sites, and other locations. An entry may include a name, settlement, description, photographs, location and sources. Entries connect names and settlements with descriptions, photographs, locations and sources where this information is available.
Each entry can be read on its own, with links to public registers, specialist publications and other sources. Locations may be approximate; their precision and available verification details are shown alongside each entry.
Maintenance and contributions
The map is maintained by the Moj Brač project. Content is expanded and corrected, and suggestions undergo editorial review before publication. You can submit a local name, photograph, location correction, information or a source link. Your name appears alongside a published contribution only if you choose this. Photographs submitted by users are published under CC BY 4.0 after rights have been confirmed.
Data and reuse
Entries link to sources and state available photograph licences. Terms for reusing the entire collection and a corresponding download option will be published once they are ready. Until then, check the licence of the specific content and the source’s terms before reusing it.
