The Šantić family and olive groves in Postira
The Broč Family Farm is run by the Šantić family from Postira. Its olive groves are spread across several sites on the north side of Brač, and Oblica is the most common among the older trees.
The family reports using organic methods to maintain its olive groves since 2011. It also keeps sheep in the groves, which help maintain the land. Production focuses on its own extra-virgin olive oil.
Farm products
The state catalogue Croatian Island Product lists fruit and grape cultivation and the making of liqueurs, marmalades and syrups alongside olive oil. The offering thus connects olive growing with other island crops and family processing.
Tasting room and contact
The official website presents a tasting room where visitors can learn about the oil and how it is made. Google Maps has a listing for Broč OPG Šantić in the Stinice area of Postira, with the same website and phone number.
The farm’s contact address is Glavica 33. Arrange the location and possibility of visiting the tasting room directly with the family by phone or email.
